Volunteer: The ARC - lobby

Volunteering in the lobby will have fluctuating needs. Volunteers are allowed to work on homework during slow times. 

Our Lobby Needs Vary, but may include: 

Ticket Sales: Sell passes and tickets to patrons using an ipad. Being familiar with passes and tickets and the admittance each of these includes. Should be comfortable with handling money and running credit cards. Will be trained in on iPad before shift begins.

Merchandise: Sell merchandise to patrons. Should be comfortable with handling money and running credit cards. Familiarity with the Square point of sales system is helpful but not required. Kara will be available to answer any questions you have.

Coffee Concessions: Sell coffee to patrons. Should be comfortable with handling money. Ensure patrons are aware that food and beverages should be consumed in the Atrium and are not to enter film venues.

Film Voting and Survey Promotion: Assist patrons in voting for their favorite film (People’s Choice Award) through the use of ipads and paper ballots. Walking around the ARC Lobby in between films and promoting patrons to fill out the FRFF survey.

We are in need of people to help set up chairs for events, ticket takers, restack chairs, serve in the coffeehouse, clean up after events.  Of course, you will receive a free ticket to that evening's events.  We also need volunteers for our Free Ink days (4 times a yr) where we are open for families and adults to make cards on our ink press.

We are in need of people to help set up chairs for events, ticket takers, restack chairs, serve in the coffeehouse, clean up after events.  Of course, you will receive a free ticket to that evening's events.  We also need volunteers for our Free Ink days (4 times a yr) where we are open for families and adults to make cards on our ink press.

Volunteers needed at the IMPACT Center to supervise and interact with children (grades K-12) during nightly after school activities. Volunteers have opportunities to help children with homework, play games, do arts and crafts, distribute snacks, and more. During the school year we are open Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-6pm.
