Volunteer: Gift Shop Attendant

Gift Shop Attendants support the museum's gift shop operations by running transactions and packaging purchases for customers. Volunteers are also responsible for cleaning the sales floor and desk and organizing displays throughout their shift. 

Volunteers complete one training shift, approximately 2 - 4 hours depending on retail experience, before they are able to sign up for regular shifts. Volunteers work alongside a museum docent during open hours. 

This position is ideal for students in need of regular, consistent volunteer opportunities or who are looking to fulfill a larger volunteer hour requirement for a course. Preference for students with retail or customer service experience.

Museum Hours:
